The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
1) The queen tells Ani that a "crown princess, like a queen, can succeed only by staying apart. Separation, elevation, delegation". What do you think it would be like to live under these expectations? How do you think this would affect Ani's ability to make true friends and keep them?

Well..I don't know. What do you think?
Well, I personally think it would be very hard to live under those expectations because it would be so much like living under a rock that you couldn't push off of your head! It would also be horrible to have to be separated so far from other people just because you were someone that was born to royalty. Making true friends would be hard only because you would have to do things the way people expect you to do them like. So, all her friends would no her as someone she isn't.
